Web hosting
Hosting is invisible until the morning it is not. Ours is monitored, backed up and renewed automatically, and there is a person to phone rather than a ticket queue.
Sites we build are deployed on Vercel or on a managed cloud instance, depending on what the site is. Either way it goes out over a global CDN, so the site is served from close to the visitor rather than from one machine in one city.
Certificates renew automatically, and so do the things that usually lapse: domains, DNS records, and the mail records that quietly stop email being delivered when they expire. We watch all of them.
Backups run daily with a thirty-day restore window, and we test a restore quarterly, because a backup nobody has ever restored is a rumour rather than a backup.

- Global CDN and automatic TLS certificates
- Daily backups, 30-day restore window
- Uptime monitoring with real alerts
Four things arrive, in this order.
Everything below is in the scope by default. If a project does not need one of them, it comes off the quote rather than being quietly left out.
- 01
Deployment
Push-to-deploy from your repository, with a preview URL for every change before it reaches the public site.
- 02
Certificates and DNS
TLS issued and renewed automatically; DNS managed, with the records documented in plain language.
- 03
Backups
Daily, retained thirty days, restorable to a staging URL first so you can look before you leap.
- 04
Monitoring
Uptime checked from multiple regions, with an alert to a human, not just a dashboard nobody has open.
From the first call to the handover.
You see the work at every stage, on something real. Nothing on this list needs chasing.
- 01
Audit what you have
Where the site lives now, who owns the domain, and what is quietly about to expire.
- 02
Migrate
Staged, tested and switched over out of hours, with the old host left running until the new one is proven.
- 03
Harden
Certificates, security headers, backups and monitoring configured, then documented for you.
- 04
Hand over the keys
Accounts in your name, with us as an administrator. Your hosting is never held hostage to the relationship.
The things people ask before they commit.
What happens if the site goes down?
We are alerted before you are. Our commitment on managed plans is a response within one business hour, and out of hours for anything transacting.
Can we host somewhere else?
Yes. Everything we build runs on standard hosting, and we will hand over a working deployment to whoever you choose.
Is email included?
No, and deliberately. Mail belongs on a mail platform (see business email and Microsoft 365), not on the same box as the website.
Need web hosting?
Send through what the business needs and a fixed quote comes back inside two days.
