Lucid Signing is built, run and supported by Bonang Technologies. It came out of a problem we kept solving badly for clients: every signature platform on the market either charges per envelope, makes the person signing create an account, or both. Neither is defensible for a small South African business sending eight documents a month.
So we built the version we wanted. Signers never register; they open a single-use link and sign from whatever device is in their hand. The sender gets routing, automatic reminders and a tamper-evident audit trail sealed into the final PDF, and the free plan is a real plan rather than a trial.
It is also the clearest demonstration of how we work. Everything on this site's services list (the design system, the Postgres schema with row-level security, the cloud infrastructure, the deliverability work that keeps signing links out of spam) is something we did for ourselves first, on this product, before we billed anyone for it.
