Supplier disclosure

Section 43 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, 2002 (ECT Act) requires anybody offering goods or services over a website to publish a specific list of facts about themselves. This is that list. Nothing here is marketing; it is the statutory disclosure, in one place, so nobody has to hunt through the footer for it.

What we sell

Design, software development, hosting, cloud and Microsoft 365 work, IT support, and our own electronic signature product. Every service has its own page setting out what is included and what is not. Those pages are the description this section requires, and they are written before you are asked for anything.

Prices

This site does not publish prices, because every engagement is priced on its scope. A quotation is the only price we give: it is in South African rand, states whether it includes VAT, holds for thirty days, and sets out the full price, the payment schedule and anything excluded. There are no charges that appear later without appearing in the quote first.

Payment

Project work is invoiced against a schedule set out in the quotation, usually a deposit on acceptance and the balance on handover. Recurring services are invoiced monthly or annually in advance. Payment is by electronic funds transfer to the bank account printed on the invoice, and where a service takes card payment it is processed by a registered payment provider on their infrastructure. We do not see, handle or store card numbers.

Handover and delivery

What we build is delivered electronically: a live site, a repository, an account, or credentials handed to a named person. The date is agreed in the quotation, and where we are going to miss it you hear so before the date rather than after. Nothing physical is shipped, so no delivery charge applies.

Cooling off

Section 44 of the ECT Act gives a consumer who buys electronically seven days to cancel without reason and without penalty, and we honour it. It does not apply to services that were performed with your agreement before the seven days were up, or to work made to your specification, which is most of what we do. The refund and cancellation policy explains exactly where the line falls and what happens on either side of it.

Security

This site is served over TLS. Enquiry and quotation forms post to our own server and the contents go to one mailbox. We do not run advertising or third-party tracking scripts, and the cookie policy lists everything the site stores in your browser. Our wider practices are set out in the security policy.

If something is wrong

Write to info@bonangtech.com or phone +27 72 823 2999. We acknowledge a complaint inside one business day and answer it inside five. If we cannot settle it between us, you may take it to the relevant ombud or to a court with jurisdiction, and none of our terms take that away from you.
